I have horrible credit and I want to fix it. Are any of these “fix your credit” deals legit?

You can consolidate your debt but it will cost you. As for your credit. Only one way. Start paying your bills on time and don’t spend more than you make. No magic answers here, just reality.

No, they are not. The only way to fix your credit is to repair it by paying all your debt up. Some credit cards offer credit for people with very bad credit, try to get one charge stuff and pay it off right away this will start to clean up your credit.
99% are not. The best way is to get some credit. Depending on how bad your credit is, Orchard Bank guarantee approval. If you cannot get one with them, get an secured credit card to start building your credit. Make sure the secured cc reports to all three bureaus.

then look at the report, it will tell you who wrote you up for defaulted or late payments….
then you call up those guys, and tell them you can pay them now, but they have to take off the blemish from your credit report….
Then, in the future,,,,, pay your BILLS on TIME!
This will work, but it will also take you months if not a few years to get your score into the 700’s
But start now, cause 2 years goes fast!

I just pulled my credit report and found some items were reported double (which reflects poorly on my debt:income ratio), and also found inaccurate information regarding the sale of my home etc.
I emailed them and within one month my credit score was raised almost 40 points.
Then – make sure your credit cards are not close to their limit.
Keep a small amount on them.
